Unique to the industry, ECCO controls its own supply chain, opening the door for a large field of studies. We’re not just producing and selling; we strive to go beyond the norm, whether that’s production automisation, product/material development, sustainability, data, retail and much more. Did you know we’ve developed an in-house data factory and advance machine learning algorithm for automated distribution of products to ECCO’s shops and online customers, cutting down unnecessary travel between distribution centres and shops? We’re also piloting a highly automated factory allowing us to product smaller batch sizes of shoes quicker, flexibly and close to markets, enabling ECCO to respond to changing trends in the market.
